Hope Rising is committed to the long term care and recovery for minor girls who have been rescued from human sex trafficking and exploitation. Our mission, to put it simply, is to provide hope and a future to these girls and to foster wholeness and healing to at-risk families and children. – Jeremiah 29:11
The House Parents teach and help the youth develop social skills, self-help skills, academic skills (help with homework) and independent living skills; healthy living habits (to include daily exercise and outdoor activities) and foster moral and spiritual development through a broad array of activities. This population typically has a background of low self-esteem, academic failure, and problem behavior. The House Parents administer the day-to-day operations of a large family residence including various paperwork, domestic responsibilities, and other assigned duties including administrative directives and works closely with other child care professionals as a team in carrying out individual treatment plans including Equine Therapy for each child to promote healing and safety. Hope Rising was established in 2012 and is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization with the mission of providing a Hope and a Future for survivors and a vision to end child sex trafficking.
